Over the past decade and a half, a substantial part of my practice has been the litigation of a wide variety of cases relating to mortgages and foreclosures, both residential and commercial, in which cases I have represented both lenders and borrowers. That litigation has included lift-stay proceedings and other litigation in bankruptcy courts, as well as eviction, deficiency and other pre- and post-foreclosure lawsuits in both state and federal courts. I have a firm grasp not only of Texas law regarding these matters but also of the governing federal statutes and regulations. I am familiar with the procedures, documents and business records associated with mortgages from origination through servicing, collections, loss mitigation, modification, default, foreclosure and beyond.
