EXPERIENCE

1982 - Present
Eugene Zemp DuBose P.C., Dallas, Texas

My practice has centered on trial and appellate litigation of business and commercial lawsuits and has included cases dealing with mortgages, both residential and commercial, trade secrets, covenants not to compete, securities, banking, landlord-tenant disputes, real estate transactions, transportation, intellectual property, contracts, uniform commercial code, employment, antitrust, eminent domain, zoning, land use and a wide variety of other issues. I have also taken clients through bankruptcy and handled matters in bankruptcy courts on all three sides: debtor, creditor and trustee. I have drafted a variety of contracts and have done a certain amount of transactional work, including financing, especially in the transportation and health care industries. A substantial part of my practice has been complex cases with large volumes of documents. I have served clients in banking, transportation, retail, manufacturing, construction, shipping, communications, health care and other industries; many of my clients have been small business owners, entrepreneurs, and independent investors. On several occasions I have represented large investor groups in securities fraud actions.
